How do we do this?
Preparation: (70 percent of any proper work is prep)
Preparation is THE most important aspect of any job. As professional painters, we pride ourselves in the quality of our work, ensuring surfaces are thoroughly prepared before applying any coating system.
Proper preparation ensures the quality of the final finish, as well as adding many years to the life of the paintwork before it will need any further attention.
Each project requires unique preparation. We evaluate and then prep, using the right paint finish and painting techniques for each and every project.
There is nothing worse than spending money on a "too good to be true" paint job where un-qualified painters skip the preparation stages, causing your paint to start flaking and the wood to start rotting within a year. We see this (and are called in to fix this) regularly.
We choose integrity; which in turn saves time and money both short and long term.
Why do we do this?
Simple: The prep work we do ensures we are able to both improve the aesthetic of any building or house, AND protect it from damage by water, rust, corrosion, insects, and mould.
How do we do this?
We recommend and use a three to four-coat system (our minimum), using super premium quality paint and materials.

What will it cost? When can I get my estimate?In order to give our customers a complete estimate, we provide an onsite visit. In most cases, we send you an email with a quote that evening!
The level of thoroughness, attention to detail, and quality desired, usually determines the cost of a job. For example, it costs more to properly prepare a surface for painting than to give it the “quick once-over.”
We are happy to break down the quote for you and talk through any questions you may have.
There are many things to consider, including: type and size of the painted area; type of windows and other trim work; number and intensity of paint colours; amount of protection needed for plants and furniture; type of paint used; and the extent of surface preparation needed. All of those things will need to be considered in order to provide you with an accurate cost estimate.

Will I need to be home whilst you are working?
We like to have a progress update meeting with you once a week to go over the job as a whole, how it’s tracking and answer any questions you may have.
Factors such as weather may alter the course of the projected time-line, and we will always be available to you to discuss this.
We usually arrive on the job before you need to leave for work and special arrangements can always be made to pick up a key ahead of time if needed. We have an excellent track-record with the trustworthiness of our painters, and your home will be respected the same as it would be if you were there.
Most people we work for are not home while work is going on. While you are at work or running errands, our crew will be busy painting. If you will be home, we are just as happy to work with you there. Our clients comfort is important to our business.

The Timeline Breakdown
We have multiple professional painting crews and will always try to accommodate your timeline.
The entire process can take as little as 4-5 days from the time we connect with you if it’s a simple and straightforward job. However, the actual timing will depend on the condition of your paint surfaces, the type of work required, and weather conditions if the project involves exterior work.

How long will my exterior painting last?
Generally an exterior painting job will need to be redone every 5-10 years. It is best not to put off your exterior painting until the house is badly peeling. When it gets to that condition, it will end up costing you more in preparation time and possibly dry rot repair work.
If a property is in a bad condition, save yourself unnecessary costs and stress – let us do the job once, and do it right. Allow us to spend the time fixing all the things that have been let go of in the past so you can sit back and relax, knowing we guarantee your paint job for 5 years with the proper preparation.

What about my furniture? Do I need to empty the rooms?
Our painting crews protect all your furniture, fixtures, and floor coverings when they prepare the area.
On interiors, after you have removed your delicate items, all areas or remaining items, will be covered with clean drop cloths or plastic sheeting.
On exteriors, shrubs and surrounding areas will be protected so that no evidence of paint splatter or paint peelings remains.
It’s best if you put small things away so we can come in and move all the bigger items for you as part of our service. All furniture and belongings are carefully covered and all floors are protected with the proper drop cloths during painting.
The only items we ask the customer to move are the small knick-knacks, pictures and light window treatments and curtains. Upon completion of the painting we will place all furniture back in the location that it was removed from.

What if it rains whilst you are painting?
We keep a close eye on the weather and weather forecasts from proper weather and wind forecasting sites. If it starts raining while we are in the middle of a painting job, we simply stop and return after it dries up.
